About Sehat Body and Wellness — Medical Massage Therapy in Lebanon, Ohio
Our story
Rooted in healing, guided by science
Sehat Body and Wellness was founded on a simple belief: that therapeutic massage is medicine — and every person deserves care that treats the whole body.
Our story
Why we started
Sehat Body and Wellness was born from a deeply personal conviction — that massage therapy is not a luxury, but a legitimate form of healthcare. Growing up in Indonesia, Wulan was captivated by traditional healing methods. As an adult, she trained ring fighters at every level — and it was there she saw the need to become certified in Sports Massage. She furthered her education after moving to the USA, witnessing firsthand how skilled hands-on therapy could speed recovery, reduce dependence on pain medication, and restore quality of life for people who'd run out of other options. That commitment to learning never stopped; Wulan continues to pursue advanced training so her clients always benefit from the most current, evidence-informed techniques available.
What she kept seeing, though, was a gap. Clients who needed medical-grade care were being offered spa-style relaxation. People managing chronic pain, recovering from surgery, or living with neurological conditions deserved a therapist who understood their bodies at a clinical level — not just someone who knew how to apply pressure.
That gap is why Sehat exists. Based in Lebanon, Ohio, we bring evidence-based massage therapy to clients who need more than a standard session. Every treatment is grounded in anatomy, informed by your health history, and tailored to your specific goals — whether that's recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or simply reclaiming the ability to move without pain.

Our philosophy
Massage as clinical care, not just comfort.
Every session starts with assessment, not guesswork.
Training in orthopaedic muscle testing, joint assessment, and muscle energy technique (Iliosacral and Sacroiliac protocols) means treatment starts with understanding why a client hurts — not just where.
Specialized technique for specific problems.
Rather than one generalized approach, each client gets the technique suited to their issue: craniosacral therapy for nervous system regulation, manual lymphatic drainage for swelling and post-surgical recovery, myofascial and cupping work for chronic tension, TMJ-specific intraoral and external work for jaw dysfunction, and nerve compression protocols.
Care that meets people in vulnerable moments.
Specific training in breast cancer recovery massage and side-lying techniques reflects a commitment to serving clients whose bodies need extra consideration — post-surgical, pregnant, or otherwise not well-served by a one-size-fits-all table setup.
Never done learning.
Continuing education isn't a licensing requirement to check off — it's constant, spanning body mechanics, malpractice/ethics, sports injury technique, and hands-on live seminars (not just home study). The philosophy: the field keeps evolving, so the practice has to.
Meeting clients where they need to be met.
While the primary practice operates from its own space, mobile massage is offered as a dedicated service for clients with mobility limitations or those who prefer the convenience of care at home or in the office. Wherever the session takes place, it carries the same clinical rigor — the assessment skills and specialized techniques don't change based on the setting.
